My game audio is too low on my headset when using it on the PlayStation 4.

Make sure the volume level on the headset is turned up and you have performed the instructions below. The instructions are dependent upon how you’ve connected the headset – to the PS4 console or to the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller.

For the AX Pro, Pro+, AX 720, 720+, Kunai, Wireless Kunai, and AX 180, when connected using the USB and RCA/Optical cables, do the following:

Go into the PS4 setting menu and navigate to: Settings > Sound and Screen > Audio Output Settings > Primary Output Port > Output Headphones and choose Chat Audio.

For the Kunai, Kunai Wireless, and AX 180, when connected directly to the PS4 controller’s 3.5mm jack, do the following:

Go into the PS4 setting menu and navigate to: Settings > Devices > Audio Devices > Headset and Headphones and choose Volume Control (Headphones) to adjust the audio level.

(The AX 180 requires the TRITTON Gaming Adapter for direct to controller setup. The adapter can be purchased here.)
